Dr. Dianne Xiao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Washington. Her synthesis-driven research program aims to endow porous materials with the enhanced reactivity and physical properties needed to meet rising global challenges in clean energy and sustainability. Dianne completed her doctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley and her postdoctoral studies at Stanford University before beginning her independent career at the University of Washington in 2019. Her research program has been recognized by several awards, including a Packard Fellowship, Beckman Young Investigator Award, NSF CAREER Award, and DOE Early Career Award.
